D-Day 75 AR—
Jack Port

There is no way I could do the man justice by describing the life of the incredible Jack Port. Fortunately, we made a robust augmented reality app that helps the World War II veteran tell his story for himself.

Premiered at the Utah Beach museum in Normandy, on the 75th anniversary of D-Day, the app is an interactive mix of Jack’s narration, photographs of his documents and memorabilia, and primary video sources of the battles themselves. And best of all, we got to follow Jack around as he revisited his wartime home.

HEAR FROM JACK HIMSELF

History is personal, and every veteran has a story to share. To commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day, we we had the chance to talk with 97-year-old veteran Jack Port. His story is now preserved in an interactive AR experience at the Utah Beach Museum in Normandy. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ef-tours-ar/id1465500317 Thank you to the Port family, James, and Carmen for their hospitality and support.
